¹⁷ Let your foot rarely be in your neighbor’s house,
Lest he have more than his fill of you and hate you.
¹⁸ Like a club and a ^(A)sword and a sharp ^(B)arrow
Is a man who bears ^[a](C)false witness against his neighbor.
¹⁹ Like ^[b]an aching tooth and a slipping foot
Is trust in a ^(D)treacherous man in a day of distress.
